Ethiopian to start services to Sana’a – Yemen March 12, 2007 - Addis Ababa, Ethiopia
The award-winning carrier, Ethiopian Airlines is set to launch services to the city of Sana’a effective 06 June, 2007 with four flights per week.
The service between Addis Ababa and Sana’a will operate with recently acquired Boeing 737-700 aircraft, offering 16 business class and 102 economy class seats on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Providing customers with increased choice and flexibility, the new services will connect Sana’a via Addis Ababa to Bangkok, Hong Kong, New Delhi, Mumbai, Paris, Brussels, Rome, London, Lagos, and Accra.
In addition to its tourist attraction for its historical sites, the improvement of the socio-economic situation of the country is showing a significant growth in air transport. The commencement of flights to Yemen will further strengthen the close ties that already exist between the two peoples and governments. Ethiopian’s extensive worldwide connection will offer greater opportunities to its customers originating from and destined to Sana’a.
